Endometriosis is something that can’t always be seen with
the naked eye. During the surgery the surgeon may take a biopsy and have it
sent to a lab if they suspect you may have endometriosis.
“If endometriosis or scar tissue needs to be
removed, your surgeon will use one of various techniques, including cutting and
removing tissue (excision) or destroying it with a laser beam or electric
