Birthdays are an amazing thing when you think about it, it
is the day that a life was brought into this world and it is a day where we
spend time celebrating this life. This day is also a time to get to celebrate
what is to come as well.
I think about my 95 year old grandpa who is working on his last
few birthdays and each birthday is a celebration that he has made it another
year. Whereas for me, my birthday is more about the fact that I am one year
closer to being considered old.
It is amazing how our perspectives on birthdays change as we
get older, it is no longer about the presents it truly becomes about our lives
where we have been and where we are going.
